When using protein powder is it worth drinking it everyday even when not doing any weights that day?

Or should i just take it the day i have done weights,

Its expensive so i want to know whether its worth taking it everyday or just on the day i do weights.

I work out every third day and rarely skip the routine btwWhen using protein powder is it worth drinking it everyday even when not doing any weights that day?
I suggest that in order to maximize it's effect, you use it every day. Even just one serving as opposed to two (which is probably the suggestion of the manufacturer). If you are using one on a non-training day, have it upon waking where you body is in a catabolic state (breaking itself down for fuel) as you have effectively undergone a 8 or so hour fast since your last meal. The fast acting proteins will digest quickly, and provide the amino acids needed for the maintaining the muscles' size.

On training days, it's best to have half a serving upon waking made with skimmed milk as opposed to water. Another half serving before training - again, made with skimmed milk. And a whole serving directly after training. After training, try to include so fast acting carbs (like sugary stuff) to quickly replenish glycogen storage (muscle energy) and provide enery necessary for the muscles to repair themselves. When using protein powder is it worth drinking it everyday even when not doing any weights that day?
use it every day. muscles grow on the days you aren't training, not when you're in the gym. muscles need protein for repair and growth.
