Is garlic powder okay for dogs sprinkled on their dry food?

It's the only way I can get him to eat his food even if I mix with wet dog food. The smell of people food drives him nuts and has him in high hope of fallen scraps to where he won't eat for days his own food.

So, lately I put garlic powder on his food and he chows it up fine with no hesitation.

Also is it true that garlic helps keep ticks away?Is garlic powder okay for dogs sprinkled on their dry food?
YES garlic is fine! I would use real garlic. It does help keep flea and ticks away naturally!!Is garlic powder okay for dogs sprinkled on their dry food?
Garlic always seems to be on list of foods not to feed dogs so I'd be wary of that.

The best thing you can do is just not eat around him. Shut him out of the room with a few toys for twenty minutes three times a day if you have to. When he knows he's not going to get scraps, he will eat his dog food. Discipline is the key here.
Don't use garlic on your Dog's food. That is people food, give him the best Dog Food that fits his profile, body and his weight. You do not give a dog people food and people dog food.Use common since.
