Can I use hot cocoa powder to replace regular cocoa powder?

Or will it not be as chocolately? Can I use hot cocoa powder to replace regular cocoa powder?
Cocoa powder does not have sugar whereas hot cocoa powder does. Hot cocoa powder also has dry milk.

It will not be a good replacement. Your dish will be significantly less chocolately and significantly sweeter if you were to replace in equal quantities.

--edit---

The reason it will be less chocolaty is that in hot cocoa, the cocoa represents about 1/3 the total volume because of the sugar and dry milk whereas cocoa powder is 100% cocoa. Can I use hot cocoa powder to replace regular cocoa powder?
Hot cocoa powder is actually more chocolaty than regular cocoa powder. Cocoa powder tends to leave a bitter taste if you have ever tried it. :P

Go ahead and use hot cocoa powder, whatever you are making, I'm sure it'll taste delicious!
no, regular chocolate powder is not sweet, but hot cocoa has sugar in it, so whatever is being made will taste different and sweeter if you use hot cocoa powder.
depends on the hot cocoa mix, hot cocoa mix usually has powdered milk, sugar, and cocoa
You can try it -- I don't know if it will work. Just cut back on the sugar as HC powder is sweetened.
I wouldn't recommend it =S
