Weightlifters use protein to get extra protein in their diet, but they're often taking more than they need. Baking powder lifts the flour. If you had too much, you'd have a metallic taste in the cupcakes. I think the gummy thing is from something else. Maybe there is too much liquid in your cupcakes. Did they rise normally? If they rose normally and then went flat, you might have mixed them too much - and the flatness might have been gummy. Or, if you didn't cook them long enough, they might be gummy.

Is garlic powder okay for dogs sprinkled on their dry food?
It's the only way I can get him to eat his food even if I mix with wet dog food. The smell of people food drives him nuts and has him in high hope of fallen scraps to where he won't eat for days his own food.

For taste, I use a bit of peanut butter by Smart Balance. Not only are you getting extra protein from it, it also supplies you with a good dose of EFA. I recall it being sugar free and salt free also, which is great if you are on a diet or adding mass.
Personally, I would mix it in with a smoothie....like a milkshake.....otherwise I'm at a loss of what to tell you....sorry but good luck!

For taste, I use a bit of peanut butter by Smart Balance. Not only are you getting extra protein from it, it also supplies you with a good dose of EFA. I recall it being sugar free and salt free also, which is great if you are on a diet or adding mass.
Personally, I would mix it in with a smoothie....like a milkshake.....otherwise I'm at a loss of what to tell you....sorry but good luck!
Try blending it with half water, half skim milk, and maybe some strawberries or other kinds of fruit. There's really no way to make that stuff taste good, but the fruit helps to make it bearable.

I put ant powder around the yard this morning, because we have these obnoxious little ants coming into the house. When I took my son outside in his stroller, a huge gust of wind blew up and basically showered us with the powder. I immediately washed his and my hands and face, but I'm still worried about him breathing that stuff. dont take advice from people that say things like 'ps' and 'duh'. just check the label and if you are worried call poison control. im sure he didn't breathe much in, if any at all. when i had a question about thrush one time on here were like 'get off your butt and rush her to the er. and thrush is so common and definitely non-life threatening. a lot of people (the way they answer they seem to be in their teens) act like everything is a life threatening sickness or accident. taking your baby to the er when they dont need to go could get them way more sick than they were in the first place.if poison control tells you to, then do it.
when i hear a promblem w/someone elses child i think of my own.... its better to be safe than sorry god forbid something happens, and you think just because poison control says so that makes it all okay your just telling details!!! dr.s can due a series of tests to make sure....oh and ps ps ps ps my friends baby drank perfume just a little though and poison control said drink a whole cup of milk then water and have her try to throw up shell be a -okay turns out she got so sick w/stomach pains she was in the hospital for almost 2months.ps go to th er anyways AGAIN thats your baby;;;

Next week I am planning on going to sallys to get some hair bleach powder and developer to do my hair. I am going for the whitish/bleached blonde color. I need suggestions on what the best bleach powder (brand) to get would be and also what volume of developer would be the best to get this look! Currently my hair is a yellowish blonde color with some tints of faint orange (that was not supposed to be there!) I've heard before that putting baby powder on your face to soak up oil on your skin is alright. I've tried it...seems to work. But I have noticed a couple of pimples ( but they could be caused by starting school stress, parental divorce and my period) My mom says that I shouldn't do this.

I've never heard this, but I'd imagine it's clogging your pores and causing the pimples. I've never heard this, but I'd imagine it's clogging your pores and causing the pimples. Instead, be sure to wash your face at least twice a day (but especially at night) and just buy some oil absorbing sheets.. A Huge can only costs about $11...you can also get other store brands such as Kroger Comforts or Meijer Store Brand which are a few dollars more. And the Parents choice I believe is about 1 pound or so of formula and would last me almost a week when my daughter drank about 8 ounces at a time.

Is there a comb through powder that makes hair look less greasy?
In the book 'Airhead' by meg cabot, nikky's hairdresser says there is a powder in which you comb through hair to make it look like it has been washed, knowing that it hasnt been washed in days.

They make great dry shampoos like other have answered and you can invest in those, but all you need to do is sprinkle some baby powder on your roots and then brush through. 100% Whey proteins are some of the best, specifically whey protein isolates. The metabolize almost immediately and provide your muscles with the nutrients they need to build and recover directly following a workout.
Other protein shakes are ';blends'; that combine different types of proteins. Some rapidly absorb, and others release gradually. This is better if overall bulking, and bedtime.
Personally, I like Muscle milk. It's kind of a best of both worlds blend. Being a female gymnast, I don't need (or want) bulk. For body builders, going with 100% whey after a workout, and Muscle milk during other times is probably the best schedule.
Special note: Protein does NOT build muscles unless your Truly working them beyond their current strength and endurance levels. To benefit the most, you need to really ';bring it'; at the gym. Otherwise, all your doing is consuming calories. Whey protein does NOT store like body-fat. It's a use it or lose it nutrient.

You can either use your fingers or a sponge to apply it is completely up to you.

Also when your putting your foundation on DO NOT forget your neck, there is nothing worse than seeing a tide mark.

A wide brush is the best for this after dabbing it on then give a quick blow to get rid of any excess. This should go from the starter line on your cheek that is online with your nose going up towards the ear. Do not make this a straight line it must be blended.

Put this on before any eyeshadow or mascara.
If using a liquid one thats fine just make sure you have a steady hand broader @ the back thinner @ the front If using a pencil apply the same as the liquid only this time use a cotton bud to blend it a little.

Again depends on your colouring %26amp; the colours you like. Try to keep it on the bottom lid not all the way up to the eyebrow that just looks tacky.

If you have a MAC store near you they can help you find the exact right shade and give you little tests to bring home and try out even. (They did this for me and a friend about a week ago and we tried a few and then went back and bought one) I always feel like they know what they are doing in there more than just trying to sell you stuff.
I have a medium-ish complexion and I've been using L'Oreal Paris True Match for about a year, and I love it! They've got plenty of different combinations of foundations and powders for a very wide range of skin tones. I also like it because I have very sensitive and acne-prone skin, and it doesn't make me break out. You can get L'Oreal products pretty much anywhere that has a cosmetics aisle and they're generally reasonably priced. I hope you find what you're looking for!

Well, the name really explains itself. Liquid is usually a water based formula or some other liquid whereas powder is a powder based formula. I would say you should get a makeup primer to mix in with your liquid foundation. Make sure you are using a good moisturizer. i use a tinted moisturizer to sort of prime my skin, and then i use a coverage powder over it.

I give my dog a bath about once a month and she seems to have dry itchy skin. well it depends on where the advice came from on powder shampoos and you got to take into consideration that every dog is different,we give my Boxer baths like every 2 months and a day after the bath she stinks again so it all depends on the dog

Powder mildew on squash plants?
I turned up the watering on my squash plants to 10 minutes a day before leaving on vacation for two weeks. When I came back they all had a powdery looking mildew and the leaves were yellowing and one had died completely. I cut back the water to five minutes a day and there now seems to be some green healthy leaves growing. Don't use those products you are totally playing with your metabolism and hormones which can be a problem in the future.
