Powder mildew on squash plants?

I turned up the watering on my squash plants to 10 minutes a day before leaving on vacation for two weeks. When I came back they all had a powdery looking mildew and the leaves were yellowing and one had died completely. I cut back the water to five minutes a day and there now seems to be some green healthy leaves growing. Would it help anything to prune off the leaves that are yellow and with the powdery mildew still on there? Any other recommendations at this point?Powder mildew on squash plants?
