How can we use the potassium permanganate as indicator for the purpose of laundry powder demonstration?

We put the potassium permanganat inside water , the water change to purple color and potassium permanganat was an oxidative agent. and once we put to water with my product (laundry powder) it will change back to colourless water. How to explain this result? How can we use the potassium permanganate as indicator for the purpose of laundry powder demonstration?
The potassium permanganate ( MnO4-) as an oxidative agent that oxidates the laundry powder , i believe that it is HClO4, and Mn+7 reduces to Mn+2, wich is colorless.......it acts as a self indicator in the titulation becuase MnO4- is purple and Mn2+ is colorlessHow can we use the potassium permanganate as indicator for the purpose of laundry powder demonstration?
Okay well If you are referring to an indicator indicating Ph then the Potassium Permanganat is possibly an acidic substance lets say the acid Ph of 4 and the Laundry detergent a basic substance lets say ph of 11 then your resulting solution would have a neutral ph of 7 (11-4)
Did you swallow a f@cking dictionary?
