One brand is Birds Custard Powder - it comes in cans. I can practically guarantee you will find it at Cost Plus. And you probably won't find it at a regular grocery store - maybe a Whole Foods?

It should be in any of your major grocery stores in the baking aisle near the boxes of Dream Whip, Jell-o, etc..
Get it in a box, brands include Jell-O or Goya.
