I'm willing to spend more for wedding make-up, but I have no idea what to get. I don't have pretty skin so I need good coverage without the caked-on look. What do you suggest for wedding day makeup, ie foundation and powder?
Sweetie I totally hear you on this subject. I got a few special products for my sister for her wedding day, it was so special she had widowed early in life and never found someone, since her first marriage was really just family and then she found a wonderful person we went all out for her. SHE WAS GORGEOUS THANKS TO BEE LUSCIOUS COSMETICS !
I got her the liquid powder mineral foundation in the color vanilla cream because she is fair skin and the retexturizing primer that goes under the foundation.
Then the SILK RADIANCE POWDER its made especially for brides, and wow what a beautiful compliment this was, it is 100% crushed silk and it set my sisters makeup and gave her a beautiful rosy look.
Then the LipTox Sheer in the color PRECIOUS, and a final dusting with the mineral tides compact in flush of pink.
She looked spectacular and she is no spring chicken mind you, and her skin is rough because she works with horses and always outside. The Primer and foundation truly TRANSFORMED HER TO FLAWLESS SKIN.

Congratulations !!!! and BEE LUSCIOUS WILL DELIVER THAT PERFECT LOOK YOU ARE WANTING....What do you suggest for wedding day makeup, ie foundation and powder?
you can just hire a make-up artist if your willing to spend that much money........
I used the primer and the silk radiance with the foundation on my wedding day and it worked like a charm, I got incredible pictures thanks to bee luscious cosmetics. You will be thrilled with them.
I have to concur! Bee-Luscious darling, it's the only way for a bride to go. Have fun and have a wonderful life.
I think it was a mistake and raebabe cut and pasted that answer its identical makes no sense.???????????? I think its a mix up.
But I will simply say, I use bee luscious and they don't have sales people I asked that question. They are not a ';rep'; company, you just go on line and buy but the do have great customer service.
Also if you are wanting to look special I can vouch for the retexturizing primer and liquid powder mineral foundation. And I just ordered the LipTox sheer can't wait to try that product out, I use the regular LipTox and love it. Hope I helped a little.

Should i take protein powder if i want to bulk up AND lose some weight?
The protein powder is packed with calories, but ive heard its good to take it to bulk up.Should i take protein powder if i want to bulk up AND lose some weight?
You don't need to because you can get all the protein you need from your diet (I'm assuming you're not a vegetarian). Weightlifters use protein to get extra protein in their diet, but they're often taking more than they need. The powder can be good simply for the convenience factor, but is by no means necessary.Should i take protein powder if i want to bulk up AND lose some weight?
first of all u cant lose weight and bulk up at the same time! you might wanna bulk up first then lose weight or the other way around! Take Whey Protein DEsigner and it only has 100 Calories per Scoop! YOu might have to cut down ur eatin if u wanna lose weight! Protein powder is good to take to bulk up but dont overdo it because u can get protein poisining!
It definitely is, don't overdo it though!!
no you shouldnt do that when you bulk up u gain weight

Can too much baking powder cause cupckaes to be gummy?
I baked a batch of vanilla cupckaes and they taste great but they are very gummy. Can the baking powder be the problem? Did I put too much? I put 4tsp for 2 2/3 cups of cake and pastry flour? Can too much baking powder cause cupckaes to be gummy?
Baking powder lifts the flour. If you had too much, you'd have a metallic taste in the cupcakes. I think the gummy thing is from something else. Maybe there is too much liquid in your cupcakes. Did they rise normally? If they rose normally and then went flat, you might have mixed them too much - and the flatness might have been gummy. Or, if you didn't cook them long enough, they might be gummy.
Hope that helps. Can too much baking powder cause cupckaes to be gummy?
I think it's the quantity of milk (too much) and maybe you mixed it too much. Start with less milk and remember to mix all the wet ingredients together first. Then mix all the dry ingredients together separately and then mix both together gently just until there is no visible white flour. Report Abuse
it will be hard as a rock.

What is the best powder (brand) for acne-prone skin?
I have combination (a bit on the oily side) skin. Any suggestion for powder? What is the best powder (brand) for acne-prone skin?
MAC Studio Fix
:) Best make up ever! What is the best powder (brand) for acne-prone skin?
are u black or white
proactiv foundation
I have acne prone skin and I love Cover girls true blend makeup compacts, or any of thier products in general. They are great because they really do have a larger variety of shades and finding one to match your skin tone is very simple. I find that I never have to reaply much as it sucks up the oil very well.
covergirl clean makeup
its amazing
i use it every day
and it doesnt cause acne
powder not advisable for acne prone skin, use a creme foundation, try Avon cosmetics
The absolute best is Bare Escentuals Mineral Foundation (which is like a powder) then follow up with their Mineral Veil to reduce shine. I started using this pure make-up about a year ago and in one year, I think I only had MAYBE 2 tiny zits. This make-up is so pure that you can even sleep in it if you forget to wash it off. It is a great brand.

Covergirl clean pressed powder.
I use it and never break out. Good coveage as well.
One that is Hypo allergenic, non oily,as a bit water, plus one that won't clog your pores. Clinque is a good one, so is Almay, You can ask your local cosmetologist for a clearer understanding or what he or she thinks is best.
Try Almay products. They are completely hypoallergenic.I have the same problem and since I switched to Almay I have had no breakouts.

Can i use baby powder as an alternative after shaving my face?
i like to use talc, but it's hard to find fragrant talc as an after shave for my face nowadays in stores. i've come across some sites that say baby powder still contains talc. so i bought some baby powder with talc and i was wondering if it's useful like the old school after shave talc? Can i use baby powder as an alternative after shaving my face?
You should use After Shave Blam of Loreal, Gillette etc , They are better then lotion and Good too.
Can i use baby powder as an alternative after shaving my face?
I don't think it's a good idea as you're meant to moisturise after shaving and not dry your face up which is what talc powder will.

Does anyone have a sponge cake recipe that has equal amounts of cornflour and custard powder?
my mum used to have a sponge cake recipe where you separated the eggs and mixed the whites first it had equal amounts of cornflour and custard powder no other flour in it at all. it was a really light and fluffy sponge cake and always made enough mix so you needed 2 tins.Does anyone have a sponge cake recipe that has equal amounts of cornflour and custard powder?
Try this one I use
4 eggs (separated)
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/2 teaspoon bi carb soda
1/2 cup custard powder
1/2 cup corn flower
1/2 cup caster sugar
Beat egg whites until stiff. Add, one at a time, the egg yolks. Then bit by bit add the caster sugar. Sift the cream of tartar, bi carb soda, custard powder and cornflour, and fold into mixture. Bake in a moderate oven for 20-25 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the middle comes out clean.
Good luck!Does anyone have a sponge cake recipe that has equal amounts of cornflour and custard powder?
